The governing bodies of the Chamber of Commerce of Alessandria are:

IL CONSIGLIO – THE CHAMBER BOARD
The Chamber Board is a volitive body, establishing the Statute and setting up the policy of the Chamber. The Alessandria Chamber Board is made up of 27 members elected according to the different economic sectors of the Province, 25 of which being selected according to the number of companies registered in the Business Register and the remaining 2 selected in representation of trade unions and consumers’ associations. According to the law, half of the Chamber Board is made up of representatives of commerce, industry, craftmanship and agriculture. It holds office for five years.
LA GIUNTA – THE COMMITTEE
The Committee is the executive body, dealing with the management and administration of the Chamber. Its main activity is to plan the budget (and its modifications) and to adopt measures to realize the work programme.
It is made up of the President and of the third part of the Chamber Board.
It holds office for five years.
IL PRESIDENTE – THE PRESIDENT
The President embodies the Chamber and is elected by the Chamber Board. He presides over all the governing bodies and, in case of emergency, is responsible for the implementation of the Committee’s acts. He holds office for five years.
IL COLLEGIO DEI REVISORI DEI CONTI – THE BOARD OF AUDITORS
The Board of Auditors is elected by the Chamber Board and it is made up of three active members and three substitutes. It exercises control over the financial management and accounting activity.
It holds office for four years.
